A 55 Club download outside Google Play goes through the same five Android screens every time, and three of them tell you whether to continue. Read the source, the installer's developer line and the permission request; if any of them surprises you, cancel. The whole check takes about two minutes.

Where does a 55 Club download come from?
There are three places, and they carry very different amounts of trust:

A file from a stranger in a group is the weakest of the three. If someone sends you an APK and a code "to activate it", that is two warnings at once.

How do you install a 55 Club APK on Android?
Five steps, written for Android 10 and newer; older phones have the same screens with slightly different names.
- 1Download the file. Chrome adds a line saying the download might be harmful. It says so about every APK ever downloaded, so it tells you nothing about this file.
- 2Allow the source once. Opening the file asks you to allow "Install unknown apps" for Chrome or your file manager. Android grants this per app: only the app you name can install.
- 3Read the installer screen. App name and icon appear there; open the details link if your phone offers one. A name that differs from the card you downloaded from means a different app.
- 4Let Play Protect scan. Android may offer to scan the app. Accept. A warning here outweighs any number of stars on a card.
- 5Open the app and watch the first request. A game asks for little. A request for SMS or accessibility on first launch is your exit.

Which screens mean stop?
Stop and delete the file if you see:
- "App not installed" or a package conflict while installing over an older copy. Android refuses updates signed by a different author. The new file is not from the same source as the app you already have.
- A request for accessibility service, SMS or device admin. None of them is needed to play a colour round.
- A demand to pay, or to read out a code, before the app does anything. Real apps take payment inside an account, never as an "activation fee".

What should you switch off after installing?
Go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps and switch it off for whichever app opened the file, usually Chrome or Files. It is not tied to one file. Left on, that app can install the next APK without asking.
Then open Settings → Apps → the new app → Permissions and remove anything you would not hand to a stranger: contacts, SMS, phone, location. The app keeps working without them; if it stops working, it wanted them for something other than the game.

Does the 55 Club download work on iPhone or a computer?
No. An APK is an Android package; iPhones and laptops cannot run one. On iPhone, the usual stand-in is a Safari shortcut on the home screen, which is just a saved web page. On a computer, the platform's website does the same job. Any page that promises an iPhone APK is wrong about how iPhones work.

Why does Chrome say the file may be harmful?
Chrome shows that line for every APK. Play Protect's scan of the installed app is the more useful check.
Can I reinstall without losing my account?
Your account lives on the platform's servers, tied to your number. Reinstalling an app does not erase it, and a different app cannot open it.
